On Thursday, November 14, 2024, FRCS Elementary School will honor Ruby Bridges and the power of children to lead change. To support our belief in equality and justice for all, we invite all K-4 students and staff to wear purple as we walk together in celebration. Note: If a student does not wear purple, they should come to school in dress code. All students in grades 5-12 are expected to wear dress code on 11/14.

Event Details:

Who: All elementary students (Grades K-4) and staff
What: Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day
When: Thursday, November 14, 2024 (Rain Date: Friday, November 15)
Where: Students who ride the bus will gather in the parking lot and walk through the campus, carrying signs and artwork.
Students will also participate in activities to honor Ruby Bridges during their Art classes.
